The purpose of this project was to animate a can seeming to dance to the beat of music. I used Adobe After Effects to create this project. The first thing I did is I grabbed a picture of the can I was going to animate and the background music I was going to use. Once imported to AE I used the puppet pin tool to animate the can to the music, however AE has a glitch in which the music does not play internally while animating even though it is supposed too so I had to animate with the music playing externally and try to sync up the animation to the music as much as I could. I next created the background by having 2 rectangles 1 blue, 1 red. I then added a fractal grid effect and animated it to the amplitude of the music. I created text to go over the background and duplicated it and added the wiggle effect to make it look the text was separating and recombining. I animated the text to appear midway through the video. The result is a really cool video of can dancing to one of my personal favorite songs of all time. Note: This is a lower quality version because the full quality version has a size of several gigabytes.
